During
the mid 1990's, Peter Johnson, an instructor at the
school, was traveling across the United States training
with different Martial Artist and fitness professionals.
What developed was a workout that combines Martial Arts
techniques with body conditioning and rhythmic movements.
On May 17, 1997, Total Impact had its first group class.
In the beginning the class consisted mostly of parents
and friends of students. Word soon spread and the demand
increased as well. Total Impact combines many elements
of rhythmic movements and martial arts techniques in
order to bring you a challenging yet engaging program.

Today,
Total Impact is an energy filled class that leaves you
feeling refreshed, and confident. The idea behind the
class is to take the mental elements that martial arts
training strengthens, and apply those to our classes.
What you get is a workout for the body that promotes
health, engages the mind and brings power. "My
goal is to show people that they can become stronger
if they challenge themselves," Peter says, "if
you learn to always give your best you learn to unlock
all of the power that is inside yourself, in addition
to that, its just plain fun!"
